Team Building Activities

Teamwork is an integral part of many organizations, as many projects are assigned to groups rather than individuals. These functional groups, however, may initially experience friction if the members have not yet had the opportunity to work with each other. The Team and Leadership Center at Adventures Unlimited can offer several team building activities that are not only fun but will also build cohesion within the team.

We take full advantage of our outdoor setting in many of our team building activities, such as sailing and kayaking. We also have a challenging ropes course--complete with 27 elements--that builds confidence and encourages teamwork. Though these activities are recreational in nature, the same set of skills used for these activities will translate to improved team unity when you return to your offices.

We offer a host of outdoor adventures with the help of our partners at Adventures Unlimited that will dramatically improve how well your team members work together. In our team sailing adventures, you can engage in either treasure hunting or search and rescue scenarios that will require that your group work effectively as a team. If your group feels up to the task, our Fear Factor workshop puts each team member's safety in the hands of the rest of the group and requires that everyone trust his or her teammates in order to succeed. This innovative program has offered amazing results!

At the Team and Leadership Center at Adventures Unlimited, we also offer team building activities in the form of formalized workshops. Our facilitators will help your group identify key business issues that require teamwork to overcome. The "Adventure in Communication" and "Core Team Capitalization" workshops are just two of the many workshops available that will provide your group with a set of skills that will increase both efficiency and productivity.
